Viruses

The Maansson family has been hit by some viruses. The first one hit the girl. She is affectionately called "the petri dish" when she brings home germs from daycare. Mommy caught it next. Thankfully, Pappa was great at pitching in as usual so Mommy could get some rest. Unfortunately, Pappa was not spared like we were hoped.

The title says viruses in the plural form for a reason. Mommy's computer was hit by a nasty virus. It amazes Mommy that people have nothing better to do than to try and ruin other people's computers. Unfortunately, these people stand little chance of getting caught.

Black Friday

Grandma and mommy tried to jump start the economy by going down the outlets in Rehobeth for Black Friday. Henrik tagged along, but became bored like a typical male. He slept through most of the shopping excursion.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving up at the Mr. and Mrs. S's house. As usual, we had a great time. Of course, there was the usual kids' table, but now we have the kids' kids' table. The girl though it was great to have a chair that was her size. Unfortunately, she filled up on grapes and crackers before we sat down to eat so she wasn't very hungry. Mommy was thankful that the boy managed to sleep through the feast.

The girl loves to sing two songs in particular, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "A B C". In case you didn't know, the two songs use the same tune.

Pounds

Last night, I finally found our scale. I'm not sure if this was such a good thing. While it looked liked the boy gaining weight, I did not like my number. I have decided to get my butt in gear and start eating better. It ought to be interesting to see how I do through not one but two Thanksgiving dinners.

The boy is doing really well with his weight. At his one month appointment, the boy weighed in at 9 pounds 15 ounces. This is such a relief to mommy after all she went through with the girl. The only downside to the boy chowing down so much, he gulps a lot air and gets gassy.

Yesterday, the girl and mommy made blueberry muffins. The girl has learned that the dough tastes just as good as the finished cooked product. She especially liked licking the spatula and the bowl.

Grandma's present to the girl arrived the other day. The girl had a blast playing with it.

Of course, the girl had just as much fun playing with the box.

Turkey day @ daycare

Today was Turkey day at daycare.

The girl was having a good day. She just doesn't like to smile for pictures.

The boy made birth weight!!!!

Today, we went for a weight check at the pediatrician's office. The boy is now at birth weight! This is such a relief after all that we went through with the girl. She took several weeks to make her birth weight.
